Religious Discrimination

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination based on ones’ religious beliefs. Employers must accommodate those religious beliefs as long as doing so would not create an undue hardship upon the employer. Some things an employer must do is allow for flexible scheduling, make easy job reassignments or lateral transfers, or make voluntary substitutions or swaps. If you or someone you know has been a victim of religious discrimination, please call a lawyer at the Law Offices of Andrew S. Alitowski.

Further, if an important work exam or activity conflicts with your religious needs, for example if an important office exam is to be held on Easter Sunday, this would not be allowed and the employer would have to make accommodations to allow you to take it another time.

If at your workplace you feel you are a victim of religious discrimination based on your religious beliefs, please call the Law Offices of Andrew S. Alitowski at 888-ASK-ANDREW. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer any questions you may have.

If you are injured…Ask Andrew!!!
